On Zoom PC

Add a picture before joining your meeting

If you've joined Zoom recently, chances are you haven't set your profile picture yet. To change your Zoom profile picture:

1) Launch the Zoom application on your PC.

2) Press your Profile name in the upper right corner.

3) Select Change my photo the menu.

4) You will now be redirected to the web version of Zoom.

5) Press Change below the image icon.

6) Download the image of your choice, adjust the borders and click record. Note: Image size must be less than 2MB.

Once you add your profile picture, the same will start to reflect in the Zoom app downloaded to your computer. The next time you join a meeting, click Turn off my video, and it will automatically replace your video with the uploaded profile picture.

How to display the video image in a Zoom meeting

If you haven't set your profile picture and are already in a meeting, you can still switch to the picture you want by following the steps below.

1) In a Zoom meeting, right click and press Edit profile picture.

2) Pick an image, adjust the borders, and don't forget to save the changes.

3) Turn off your video by pressing Stop the video.

And now, it's over ! The set image will automatically replace your video during the meeting.

On the Zoom mobile app

1) Open the Zoom app on your phone and head to Settings.

2) Tap your profile and select Profile picture.

3) Upload your photo from the phone gallery.

You can now mute the video or mute it before joining the Zoom meeting to display the picture instead of the video or name.
